So.. what could cause it?
Here are 5 of the biggest reasons your bridal waves might not be blending the way you want:
Uneven Sectioning
Inconsistent sections (so 1 section is vertical, the other section more horizontal) will lead to inconsistent curls, meaning waves that won't blend
Wrong Curl Direction
Switching directions randomly, because you simply don’t understand the WHY behind the direction, can ruin the flow of the wave. Strategic curl direction is essential for smooth blending
Poor Hair Prep
The right foundation makes or breaks whether your curl will hold - aka: how your curl with transform into the perfect wave
Inconsistent
iron position
Keeping your barrel vertical first, and for the next section slightly more horizontal will ruin your waves!
They will not be the same in outcome and therefore not blend
Not letting the curl
cool down enough
if you don't let your curls cool down enough, the wave pattern won't show deep enough. If other curls cooled down more, you will notice a difference and therefore the wave will not blend into the others
